N/B: Classrooms were named after flowers which have symbolic definitions and somehow portrays the nature of their various stages.

Our Children will learn through the main six areas

1.    COMMUNICATION, LANGUAGE AND LITERACY

ABNS supports and encourages children learning in communication, speaking and listening, reading and writing. They are provided with opportunities that revolves around playful and interactive experiences.

2.    NUMRERACY (MATH)

We provide opportunities for the children to become confident and competent in learning and using key skills. This area of learning includes counting, sorting, matching, seeking patterns, working with numbers, shapes and measures. The children’s understanding is developed through stories, songs, rhymes and imaginative play.

3.     PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

We encourage children’s physical development by providing opportunities for them to be active and interactive and to improve their skills for coordination, control manipulation and movement. They are supported in developing understanding of keeping fit.

4.    EXPLORE ( NATURE-UNDERSTANDING THE WORLD)

ABNS supports children in developing their knowledge, skills and understanding that helps them to make sense of the world around them. We offer opportunities for them to use a wide range of tools safely, encounter plants and objects in the natural environment. Their explorative nature is unveiled and developed.

5.    CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

The children undertake fun and practical activities that extends their curiosity, exploration and play. They are encouraged to do hands-on activities and role paly activities which includes art, music and movement.

6.    PERSONAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We also support each individual’s emotional wellbeing in order to help them become confident and respect others and also develop a positive sense of themselves and of others. Practical Life skills are taught on daily basis to make these little ones independent and emotionally stable.
